HCAU is the Australian subsidiary of Hyundai Capital Services Korea and has commenced operations to deliver captive-finance solutions for our three OEM brands under the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's second-largest conglomerate, with a strong focus on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more. As the financial arm of HMG, Hyundai Capital Services supports global vehicle sales by providing a comprehensive range of automotive finance products and services.
We’re currently hiring a Product & Pricing Analyst to play key role in optimising the profitability and competitiveness of HCAU product suite. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and implementation of personalised and data-driven pricing models, ensuring product pricing is aligned with customer value, risk appetite and market positioning.
What you’ll do:
Pricing Strategy and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain pricing frameworks using internal and external data sources that support both revenue growth and market competitiveness for retail and wholesale finance products.
- Analyse market trends, competitor rates and portfolio performance to inform pricing decisions.
- Design and implement personalised pricing strategies based on customer profiles, credit risk and external data.
- Support dealer and OEM partners with pricing recommendations and campaign rate modelling.
- Manage and process deal-level and custom pricing requests to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Derive insights from models and analysis to refine personalised pricing models and recommend business actions to HCAU’s internal stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain pricing data in HCAU’s core systems.
Product and Portfolio Performance:
- Monitor and report on product KPIs and portfolio performance.
- Support product launches, including testing of new products or enhancements to the product suite and pricing offers in collaboration with the wider Product team and internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Governance:
- Work cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Marketing and Sales to ensure pricing practices comply with responsible lending, credit and regulatory obligations.
- Support product and pricing governance processes by ensuring pricing reviews and approvals are documented and version controls are maintained for audit compliance.
Your skills & experience:
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite user; strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and highly time-sensitive environment and to challenge existing practices when appropriate.
- Strong communication, time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.
- Ideally 4 years of experience in product management, pricing or portfolio management, preferably within lending or automotive finance.
- Previous experience working in an OEM captive finance provider is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing or a combination of comparable education and experience.
- Experience in using Power BI for visualisation and proficiency in data analysis languages such as SQL and VBA.
- Demonstrated experience in risk-based and personalised pricing models is desirable.
