Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) at a time of rapid growth following our recent launch. HCAU is the Australian subsidiary of Hyundai Capital Services Korea and has commenced operations to deliver captive-finance solutions for three OEM brands under the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's second-largest conglomerate, with a strong focus on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more. As the financial arm of HMG, Hyundai Capital Services supports global vehicle sales by providing a comprehensive range of automotive finance products and services.

We’re currently hiring a Pricing Manager to manage HCAU’s pricing strategy to ensure our rates, fees, campaigns and pricing frameworks remain competitive, compliant and aligned with customer outcomes, OEM objectives and business goals. Reporting to the Sales Planning Director, you will act as a pricing subject matter expert working in collaboration with other departments to drive pricing governance and strategic initiatives to support the growth of HCAU.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead HCAU’s pricing strategy, including rate reviews, pricing frameworks, fee management, campaign pricing and rate override governance to support competitive, compliant and profitable outcomes.
  • Develop pricing recommendations using market insights, competitor benchmarking, funding considerations, sales performance, risk appetite and profitability targets.
  • Manage pricing governance, approvals, documentation and controls to ensure decisions are transparent, auditable and aligned with business requirements.
  • Own pricing implementation across systems and platforms, partnering with Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk and external vendors to deliver accurate and timely changes.
  • Provide commercial analysis, reporting and insights to support pricing decisions, strategic initiatives and business growth.
  • Act as a pricing subject matter expert, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, OEM partners and key stakeholders to optimise customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across pricing processes, controls, reporting and governance practices.

Your skills & experience:

  • Proven experience in pricing, financial services, automotive finance, asset finance or a related commercial environment.
  • Strong capability across pricing strategy, rate reviews, fee analysis, governance, commercial modelling, competitor benchmarking and performance reporting.
  • Experience delivering pricing system changes, process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer outcomes, market competitiveness, risk, funding and profitability objectives.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, develop insights and influence business decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Technology, OEMs and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on governance, documentation, controls and audit readiness.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools, finance systems or BI platforms highly regarded.
  • Relevant qualifications in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
