Product Strategy, Lifecycle Management & Governance (30%):

  • Manage and evolve HCAU’s finance product portfolio (consumer, commercial, floorplan, capital, novated leasing, OEM/dealer initiatives).
  • Identify product opportunities aligned to sales strategy, dealer needs, customer outcomes and profitability.
  • Oversee full product lifecycle (design, maintenance, rationalisation, implementation, reviews).
  • Maintain governance frameworks, documentation, policies, TMDs and product artefacts.
  • Monitor regulatory and market changes to ensure compliance and product fit.
  • Support feasibility, requirements gathering and readiness for new products/enhancements.

Product Operations, Change Management & Commercial Support (25%):

  • Lead implementation of product, pricing, documentation and process changes.
  • Manage governance processes (change requests, approvals, tracking, stakeholder comms).
  • Support commercial reviews with market-driven recommendations.
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitor analysis to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Resolve operational issues and drive process improvements/workarounds.

Systems, Data, Testing & Change Implementation (20%):

  • Deliver product changes across HCAU & OEM IT systems.
  • Translate product decisions into system requirements, testing and go-live readiness.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Improve processes and resolve system/configuration issues.
  • Ensure clear communication of product and system changes to stakeholders.

Insurance, Insights & Stakeholder Management (25%):

  • Manage retail insurance products; ensure alignment with HCAU and OEM strategy.
  • Monitor market, competitors and campaigns; deliver insights and reporting.
  • Lead benchmarking and market intelligence activities.
  • Act as SME across key strategic initiatives (e.g. novated, refinance, GFV).
  • Build relationships across internal teams, OEMs, dealers and partners.
  • Support governance forums and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement across governance, reporting and processes.

Your skills & experience:

  • Demonstrated success in automotive finance, banking, financial services, captive finance or a related commercial product environment.
  • Proven experience managing product lifecycle, product governance, operational change management or finance product implementation activities.
  • Experience managing system change, testing, documentation, process improvement and cross-functional implementation activities.
  • Exposure to novated lease products, retail insurance or related finance product offerings is highly regarded.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer outcomes, OEM objectives, dealer needs, risk appetite and HCAU profitability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex product and operational matters clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability; experience with data warehouses, reporting tools, core finance systems and dealer portals is highly regarded.
  • High attention to detail, strong documentation discipline and the ability to maintain clear audit trails for product decisions and governance activities.
  • Strong project and change management capability in a fast-paced environment working across matrix organisations with internal departments, OEMs, dealers and external vendors.

What we offer you:

  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program.
  • 14 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers.
  • A fun and collaborative team with great work life balance.
  • Employee Car Benefit Scheme.
