We’re currently hiring a Retail Marketing & Advertising Governance Manager to develop B2B and B2C product marketing materials and work closely with OEM Relationship and Marketing teams to bring retail offers to market through clear, compelling and compliant advertising. In this role, you will ensure marketing communications meet regulatory, legal and brand requirements, including obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and ASIC regulatory frameworks.
What you’ll do:
Retail Campaign & Offer Advertising
- Take retail offers and promotions developed by the OEM Relationships team and translate them into compliant advertising materials across dealer and B2C channels.
- Review and approve OEM and Dealer campaign advertising assets to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations, approved finance advertising requirements and brand standards.
Product Marketing
- Take retail offers and promotions developed by the OEM Relationships team and translate them into compliant advertising materials across dealer and B2C channels.
- Review and approve OEM and Dealer campaign advertising assets to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations, approved finance advertising requirements and brand standards.
- Translate product features, benefits and enhancements into clear, customer- and dealer-focused messaging.
Advertising Compliance & Governance
- Own day-to-day advertising compliance across marketing communications, OEM and dealer advertising.
- Partner closely with Risk, Legal & Compliance to ensure marketing materials meet regulatory and legal standards, including ACL and ASIC regulatory requirements.
- Monitor advertising activity using an AI monitoring tool and manage logging and remediation through the Protecht GRC system.
OEM, Dealer & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with OEM partners, dealers and internal teams to enable compliant retail marketing execution.
- Provide guidance on advertising requirements and approval processes to support compliant dealer advertising.
B2C Marketing & Project Support
- Work closely with OEM partners, dealers and internal teams to enable compliant retail marketing execution.
- Provide guidance on advertising requirements and approval processes to support compliant dealer advertising.
Your skills & experience:
- Ideally, 5+ years’ experience in product marketing, retail marketing or campaign advertising roles.
- Experience in automotive, financial services, retail finance or other regulated environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with advertising compliance and approval processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple teams.
- Experience supporting dealer or partner-led marketing environments highly desirable.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and strong risk awareness.
- Ability to shape marketing messaging into compliant language that meets regulatory and internal requirements.
- Highly organised with strong delivery focus and comfortable balancing marketing effectiveness with compliance requirements.
