This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) at a time of rapid growth following our recent launch. HCAU is the Australian subsidiary of Hyundai Capital Services Korea and has commenced operations to deliver captive-finance solutions for three OEM brands under the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's second-largest conglomerate, with a strong focus on automobiles, auto parts, finance and more. As the financial arm of HMG, Hyundai Capital Services supports global vehicle sales by providing a comprehensive range of automotive finance products and services.
We’re currently seeking a Settlements Associate for our Operations team to process and review retail transactions. You’ll have a great deal of ownership and autonomy in helping us scale our internal process working across multiple IT systems. You’ll work collaboratively with teams such as Sales and Customer Service to ensure our Credit & Settlements function runs efficiently and enables a best-in-class experience for our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure all retail settlements are compliant from a regulatory aspect.
- Ensuring all data within the system is entered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with dealer network with any service requirements.
- Ensure dealer facilities activity adheres to HCAU policy requirements.
- Ensure issues are escalated in accordance with internal policies.
- Support other functions within the Operations team as required.
- Assist with the drafting of Process and Procedure documents.
Your skills & experience:
- Demonstrated settlements/operations experience within banking and/or financial services.
- Thorough funding and loan documentation knowledge.
- Customer-centric with excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Confident accurately managing and maintaining multiple IT systems simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
